He also had a <i>b&#257ol&#299</i> (open well with steps leading down to water level) dug to ensure supply of water for the garrison. The Tar&#257ga&#7771h Fort, one of a chain of defensive fortifications of Anandpur, is no longer in existence. The commemorative shrine, Gurdw&#257r&#257 Qil&#257 Tar&#257ga&#7771h, stands about 250 metres east of the village, and is under the control of the Shiroma&#7751&#299 Gurdw&#257r&#257 Parbandhak Committee.
