This feat he accomplished in collaboration with Mahant Pr&#299tam D&#257s, another Ud&#257s&#299 <i>s&#257dh&#363</i>, during 1781-84. Like Pr&#299tam D&#257s, Santokh D&#257s had also established an <i>akh&#257&#7771&#257</i> or monastery close to the Harimandar at Amritsar, which is known as Brahm B&#363&#7789&#257 after Santokh D&#257s' successor, Brahm D&#257s or Brahm S&#257hib.
