A <i>gurdw&#257r&#257</i> was later raised here and the pond lined into a <i>sarovar</i> or holy tank named N&#257naksar. Gurdw&#257r&#257 N&#257naksar preserved within its compound the <i>ber</i> tree, reverently called Ber S&#257hib, under which Gur&#363 N&#257nak is said to have halted temporarily.
