On 2 June when the fort wall was breached by cannonading, Ak&#257l&#299 S&#257dh&#363 Si&#7749gh accompanied by a few of his companions rushed through the breach and closed in on the Af<u>gh</u>&#257n defenders. The old Naw&#257b and his sons donned the green garb and with drawn swords "came out to answer the call of the angel of death." Naw&#257b Muzaffar <u>Kh</u>&#257n, his two sons and a nephew were killed and so were S&#257dh&#363 Si&#7749gh and his men.
