<p class="C1">&#65279R&#256M SI&#7748GH (d. 1716) , a Bal Ja&#7789&#7789 of the village of M&#299rpur Pa&#7789&#7789&#299 in Amritsar district of the Punjab, was the younger brother of B&#257j Si&#7749gh, who was appointed governor of the town of Sirhind after it was occupied by Band&#257 Si&#7749gh Bah&#257dur in May 1710. R&#257m Si&#7749gh had received the rites of the <u>Kh</u>&#257ls&#257 at the hands of Gur&#363 Gobind Si&#7749gh, and was one of the five Sikhs who had accompanied Band&#257 Si&#7749gh from N&#257nde&#7693 to the Punjab in 1709. He took part in various campaigns launched by Band&#257 Si&#7749gh. In May 1710, he was appointed administrator of Th&#257nesar. He fought battles against Firoz <u>Kh</u>&#257n Mev&#257t&#299 at Am&#299n, Tar&#257o&#7771i, Th&#257nesar and Sh&#257h&#257b&#257d. He was taken prisoner in the siege of Gurd&#257s-Na&#7749gal and sent to Delhi where he was executed along with Band&#257 Si&#7749gh and his other companions in June 1716.</p>
