In these letters, his name invariably appears at the top, next only to that of Bh&#257&#299 Di&#257l D&#257s. Another <i>hukamn&#257m&#257</i> preserved in gurdw&#257r&#257 Mai&#7749i Sa&#7749gat, Pa&#7789n&#257, and believed to have been issued by Gur&#363 Gobind Si&#7749gh, is addressed primarily to Bh&#257&#299 R&#257m R&#257i. R&#257m R&#257i was a good fluent writer as is evidenced by a copy of the Gur&#363 Granth S&#257hib written in his hand which is preserved at Ta<u>kh</u>t Harimandar S&#257hib, Pa&#7789n&#257.
