The only child of her father, Bh&#363m&#299&#257 Si&#7749gh, who had died when she was barely four, she was brought up by her grandfather, and, in 1751, married to Chaudhar&#299 Tilok Chand, of Phagw&#257r&#257. Her husband died at a young age and the charge of the family estate, consistsing of over two hundred villages, fell to her. When B&#257b&#257. &#256l&#257 Si&#7749gh was arrested in 1765 by Ahmad Sh&#257h Durr&#257n&#299 for having fallen into arrears with the tribute and was being taken to Lahore, R&#257jindar Kaur went to her grandfather and offered to pay the money to secure his release. But the latter declined the offer saying that it was not proper to accept money from a daughter of the family. In 1778, R&#257j&#257 Amar Si&#7749gh of Pa&#7789i&#257l&#257, who was R&#257jindar Kaur's first cousin, was defeated by Har&#299 Si&#7749gh of Si&#257lb&#257. R&#257jindar Kaur came to his rescue with three thousand soldiers marching through the territories of the chiefs who had fought on the side of Har&#299 Si&#7749gh. During the reign of the minor R&#257j&#257 S&#257hib Si&#7749gh, R&#257jindar Kaur was again in Pa&#7789i&#257l&#257 to defend the town against Mar&#257&#7789h&#257 onslaugh&#7789s At the head of a strong force, she marched as far as Mathur&#257 where peace parleys were opened with the Mar&#257&#7789h&#257s.</p> <p class="C1">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; B&#299b&#299 R&#257jindar Kaur died in1791 at Pa&#7789i&#257l&#257 after a short illness.
