She was the daughter of Ra&#7751 Si&#7749gh Nak&#257i, and was married to the Mah&#257r&#257j&#257 in 1798. Though Ra&#7751j&#299t Si&#7749gh married several other women, M&#257&#299 Nakai&#7751 remained his favourite. She was the mother of the heir apparent, Kha&#7771ak Si&#7749gh.
