<p class="C1">&#65279R&#256DH&#256 KISHAN, PA&#7750&#7692IT (d.1875), son of Pa&#7751&#7693it Madhus&#363dan, was appointed in 1824 by Mah&#257r&#257j&#257 Ra&#7751j&#299t Si&#7749gh to take charge  of the education of H&#299r&#257 Si&#7749gh &#7693ogr&#257, who studied both Sanskrit and Persian. Later, he was appointed tutor to the minor Mah&#257r&#257j&#257 Duleep Si&#7749gh. He also performed the duties of  <i>r&#257jpurohit</i> and served as an almoner.</p>
