Bh&#257&#299 Pai&#7771&#257 served with diligence and devotion at the time of the digging of the sacred pool at Amritsar. He was one of the five Sikhs who accompanied Gur&#363 Arjan during his last journey to Lahore. According to <i>Gurbil&#257s Chhev&#299n P&#257tsh&#257h&#299</i>, he displayed soldierly skills in the time of Gur&#363 Hargobind and had command of 100 horsemen. Bh&#257&#299 Pai&#7771&#257 was in Gur&#363 Hargobind's train when he visited Kashm&#299r in 1620.
