Born in 1868, he was 18 years old when he accompanied his father to that French territory to the south of Madr&#257s. Narendra Si&#7749gh was betrothed to the daughter of R&#257o Umr&#257o Si&#7749gh of Ku&#7789esar, near Meerut. In August 1887, &#7788h&#257kur Si&#7749gh died at Pondicherry, but Narendra Si&#7749gh and his brothers were not allowed to return to British India until 1890.
