<p class="C1">&#65279NAJ&#256BAT <u>KH</u>&#256N (d. 1688), a Pa&#7789h&#257n belonging to Kuñjpur&#257, who joined the service of Gur&#363 Gobind Si&#7749gh at P&#257o&#7751&#7789&#257 S&#257hib. He however deserted the Gur&#363 on the eve of the battle of Bha&#7749g&#257&#7751&#299 (1688) and joined hands with the hill r&#257j&#257s. During the battle he came face to face with Sa&#7749go Sh&#257h, one of Gur&#363 Gobind Si&#7749gh's cousins. Both fell fighting in the duel that followed.</p>
