Like his brothers, Pah&#257&#7771 Si&#7749gh M&#257n and Jai Si&#7749gh M&#257n, he entered the service of Mah&#257&#7749 Si&#7749gh Sukkarchakk&#299&#257 and participated in his military campaigns. He took part in the early campaigns of Mah&#257r&#257j&#257 Ra&#7751j&#299t Si&#7749gh.
