As the Gur&#363's nominee resident of Khem Karan in the present-day Amritsar district of the Punjab, he was in attendance upon Gur&#363 Gobind Si&#7749gh. According to Sar&#363p Si&#7749gh Kaushish, <i>Gur&#363 k&#299&#257&#7749 S&#257kh&#299&#257&#7749</i>, he fought valiantly in the battle of Nadau&#7751 (20 March 1691) and fell a martyr.</p>
