Mohar Si&#7749gh, with his brother, Dal Si&#7749gh, held a <i>j&#257g&#299r</i> during Mah&#257r&#257j&#257 Ra&#7751j&#299t Si&#7749gh's reign subject to one hundred horse. He served in the Kashm&#299r campaign in which he was wounded. He distinguished himself at the crucial battle of &#7788er&#299 fought near the K&#257bul River in March 1823, after which he was placed in command of 500 cavalry. He was engaged under General Ventura in 1831 to seize the territory of the Bah&#257walpur chief north of the Sutlej. Mohar Si&#7749gh died in 1832.
