It is situated on the right bank of the river &#7788&#257&#7749gr&#299. Gur&#363 Te<u>gh</u> Bah&#257dur passed through this village during one of his preaching tours across the region, and Gur&#363 Gobind Si&#7749gh visited it during his sojourn at Lakhnaur in 1670-71.</p> <p class="C1">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Gurdw&#257r&#257 buildings stand in the middle of an enclosure covering over an acre of land. The main shrine dedicated to the memory of Gur&#363 Te<u>gh</u> Bah&#257dur consists of a large flat-roofed hall, with the sanctum containing the Gur&#363 Granth S&#257hib in a smaller room within the hall. A separate low-domed small room commemorates the visit of Gur&#363 Gobind Si&#7749gh. A local committee, under the Shiroma&#7751&#299 Gurdw&#257r&#257 Parbandhak Committee, manages the shrines.
