One of these was a cot (<i>mañj&#299</i>, in Punjabi; after which the Gurdw&#257r&#257 was named), said to have been used by Gur&#363 N&#257nak at the time of his visit to the village. Another was one of the pair of Gur&#363 Amar D&#257s&#8217 shoes kept in the house of Bh&#257&#299 Chain&#257 Mall, also known as Pero Mall. Some of Chain&#257 Mall's descendant went to live in another village Dhunn&#299, near H&#257fiz&#257b&#257d, in Gujr&#257&#7749w&#257l&#257 district, splitting the pair between the two villages. The third relic was a wooden staff which Gur&#363 Arjan during his visit to Maddar had, at their request, bestowed on his devotees.
