Constructed by Gi&#257n&#299 Indar Si&#7749gh of Bhi&#7751&#7693r&#257&#7749 in 1960, the present building is a spacious rectangular hall, at the far end of which is the domed sanctum. The Gurdw&#257r&#257 is managed by a manager-cum-<i>granth&#299</i> appointed by the Shiroma&#7751&#299 Gurdw&#257r&#257 Parbandhak Committee and assisted by a committee of the local <i>sa&#7749gat</i>. Devotees assemble in large numbers on <i>am&#257vasy&#257</i> (the last day of the dark half of the month) to offer obeisance at the Gurdw&#257r&#257 and to have a dip in the <i>sarovar</i>.
