He joined S&#257hib Si&#7749gh in most of his expeditions. His daughter was married to Ka&#7749var Part&#257p Si&#7749gh of J&#299nd and granddaughter (the daughter of his son, Fateh Si&#7749gh) to Sh&#257hz&#257d&#257 S&#257hdev Si&#7749gh, son of Mah&#257r&#257j&#257 Sher Si&#7749gh of Lahore, who lived in Bareilly.
