<p class="C1">&#65279KARAM SI&#7748GH SIDDH&#362, son of Di&#257l Si&#7749gh, of village O&#7789h&#299&#257&#7749 in Gurd&#257spur district, popularly known as Karam Si&#7749gh O&#7789h&#299&#257&#7749v&#257l&#257, rendered service in several campaigns undertaken by Mah&#257r&#257j&#257 Ra&#7751j&#299t Si&#7749gh, including those of Pesh&#257war and H&#257z&#257r&#257. Under the Sikh court he received rupees 1,800 annually subject to the service of three horsemen. He along with other members of his family joined the revolt against the British in 1848, and his <i>j&#257g&#299rs</i> and allowances were resumed after the annexation of the Punjab.</p>
