Day after day, says Sar&#363p D&#257s Bhall&#257, Mahim&#257 Prak&#257sh, she toiled away at the site, without anyone knowing who she was, and where she had come from. One day Gur&#363 Amar D&#257s told the Sikhs that the lady was from K&#257bul and that she had by her love of the Almighty and duty towards her husband attained spiritual insight.

An old manuscript, Mahim&#257 Prak&#257sh Sr&#299 Gur&#363 Amar Dev, and an inscription in Gurdw&#257r&#257 Havel&#299 S&#257hib at Goindv&#257l mention a lady being in charge of the mañj&#299 or Sikh centre at K&#257bul, though they name her differently --- the former calling her B&#299b&#299 Bh&#257go and the latter M&#257&#299 Sev&#257&#7749.
