He fought in many of the Mah&#257r&#257j&#257's campaigns, including those of K&#257&#7749g&#7771&#257 (1809) and Kashm&#299r (1819). Mah&#257r&#257j&#257 Ra&#7751j&#299t Si&#7749gh granted him eleven villages in <i>j&#257g&#299r</i> in Amritsar district. Jha&#7751&#7693&#257 Si&#7749gh was killed in 1833 in a private feud.
