When M&#257t&#257 Sundar&#299 disowned Aj&#299t Si&#7749gh for his profligacy and moved from Delhi to Mathur&#257, she took with her Ha&#7789h&#299 Si&#7749gh and his mother, T&#257r&#257 B&#257&#299. As he grew up, Ha&#7789h&#299 Si&#7749gh, too, like his father, became a pretender to gur&#363ship. He used to substitute his own name for N&#257nak in scriptural hymns and claim them as his own. Disgusted with his behaviour, M&#257t&#257 Sundar&#299 discarded him and came back to live at Delhi. Ha&#7789h&#299 Si&#7749gh, after the sack of Mathur&#257 by Ahmad Sh&#257h Durr&#257n&#299, migrated to Burh&#257npur in Madhya Pradesh, where he established a sa&#7749gat of his own. He died there without an heir in 1783.
