Ha&#7749s R&#257m translated Kar&#7751a Parva of the Mah&#257bh&#257rata. The 1581-stanza work was commenced on Maghar v&#257d&#299 2, 1752 Bk/12 November 1695 and, as acknowledged by the poet himself, the Gur&#363 bestowed upon him a reward of 60,000, &#7789ak&#257s (silver coins, rupees), when he completed it. The poet panegyrizes the bounties of the Gur&#363 as well as his bravery in battle. The only known manuscript of his Kar&#7751a Parva is now a part (pp. 711-882) of a voluminous Mah&#257bh&#257rata preserved in the private collection of the Mah&#257r&#257j&#257 of Pa&#7789i&#257l&#257.
