Undated, but the product apparently of late nineteenth century, it comprises a bare six folios tightly written. It opens with an account, introducing some dates, of the origin of the Bed&#299 clan into which Gur&#363 N&#257nak was born. The lineage is carried on to S&#257hib Si&#7749gh (1756-1834), Bikram Si&#7749gh (d. 1863) and his sons S&#363rat Si&#7749gh and Suj&#257n Si&#7749gh. Besides recording dates and places of birth and death of the Gur&#363s, the manuscript provides similar information about some of the members of their families. Certain events are also dated, not always correctly. Among the dates mentioned are those of the beginning of the digging of the b&#257ol&#299 at Goindv&#257l (M&#257gh 21, 1591 Bk/20 January 1535), marriage of B&#299b&#299 Bh&#257n&#299 (Ph&#257gun 16, 1599 Bk/13 February 1543), founding of R&#257md&#257spur&#257 (Thursday, H&#257&#7771 13, 1634 Bk/l0 June 1577), completion of the Gur&#363 Granth S&#257hib (Bh&#257don sud&#299 1, 1661 Bk/ 16 August 1604), death of Kaul&#257&#7749 (H&#257&#7771 1, 1619 Bk/29 May 1562), battle of Chamkaur (Thursday, Maghar 17, 1762 Bk/ 16 November 1705), battle of Muktsar (M&#257gh vad&#299 1, 1762 Bk/18 December 1705), death of Band&#257 Si&#7749gh Bah&#257dur (Ph&#257gun sud&#299 9, 1774 Bk/27 February 1718), death of Bh&#257&#299 Bu&#7693&#7693h&#257 (Ass&#363 sud&#299 10, 1688 Bk/26 September 1631) and death of Bh&#257&#299 Gurd&#257s (Bh&#257do&#7749 sud&#299 8, 1694 Bk/17 August 1637).
