<p class="C1">&#65279GURDIT SI&#7748GH NALV&#256 (1807-1882), soldier and <i>j&#257g&#299rd&#257r</i> in Sikh times, was the eldest son of the famous general, Har&#299 Si&#7749gh Nalv&#257. He received a sum of Rs 2,200 from Mah&#257r&#257j&#257 Ra&#7751j&#299t Si&#7749gh as his share out of money left by his father. The British settled upon him an allowance of Rs 480 annually after the annexation of the Punjab. He also inherited in 1877 the <i>j&#257g&#299r</i> of his brother, Jaw&#257har Si&#7749gh.</p>
<p class="C1">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Gurdit Si&#7749gh died in 1882.</p>
