A platform was raised on the site amid the grove as a memorial which came to be called Gur&#363 ki&#257&#7749 &#7788&#257hli&#257&#7749. The platform was later replaced by a gurdw&#257r&#257. The present building, constructed in 1930, is a rectangular hall, with a sanctum at the northern end. A square room with a lotus dome above it tops the sanctum. In the adjoining compound are the Gur&#363 k&#257 La&#7749gar and rooms for the granth&#299. The Gurdw&#257r&#257, affiliated to the Shiroma&#7751&#299 Gurdw&#257r&#257 Parbandhak Committee, is managed by a local committee. Besides daily services, special assemblies are held on the first and thirteenth of every Bikram&#299 month, on the latter especially because of the belief that it was on the thirteenth day of the month of Ph&#257gun that Gur&#363 Hargobind visited the place.

Major Gurmukh Si&#7749gh (Retd.)
