Gur&#363 Tegh Bah&#257dur, says the S&#257kh&#299 Poth&#299, arrived here from Bachchho&#257&#7751&#257 on his way to G&#257g&#257 and further east. Gur&#363 Gobind Si&#7749gh passed through it on his way back from Akbarpur Khu&#7693&#257l to Sirs&#257 in 1706. Separate Mañj&#299 S&#257hibs in the form of platforms dedicated one each to them were built in a single hall. The Gur&#363 Granth S&#257hib was seated on a third platform between the two. The building has now been reconstructed. The Gurdw&#257r&#257 is administered by the village sa&#7749gat. Religious assemblies are held on am&#257vasy&#257 -- the last day of the dark half of the month, when an unbroken recital (akha&#7751&#7693 p&#257&#7789h ) of the Gur&#363 Granth S&#257hib is concluded, followed by k&#299rtan and discourses and a community meal.

BIBLIOGRAPHY

M&#257lv&#257 Desh Ra&#7789an d&#299 S&#257kh&#299 Poth&#299, Amritsar, 1968

T&#257r&#257 Si&#7749gh, Sr&#299 Gur T&#299rath Sa&#7749grahi.
