Fateh Chand and his wife were devout Sikhs and received the Gur&#363 and his family with great honour. They put them up in their newly built house, themselves continuing to live in the old one. After the departure of the Gur&#363's family for the Punjab, the couple converted their house into a dharams&#257l&#257 for the sa&#7749gat or devotees to assemble in holy congregation. The place came to be known as Mai&#7751&#299 Sa&#7749gat. On the site now stands Gurdw&#257r&#257 B&#257l L&#299l&#257 Mai&#7751&#299 Sa&#7749gat. This is a new building, but the porch of the old one has been kept intact.
