At the village of Bh&#257g&#363, Di&#257l D&#257s took the rites of <i>amrit</i> at the hands of Gur&#363 Gobind Si&#7749gh and received the name of Di&#257l Si&#7749gh. Thereafter the Gur&#363 and the Sikhs partook of the food he had brought for them. It so happened, says the <i>S&#257kh&#299 Poth&#299</i>, that a few more Sikhs arrived after all the food had been consumed.
