The Mah&#257r&#257j&#257 and the court <i>sard&#257rs</i> used to consult him on astrological matters. Pa&#7751&#7693it Brij R&#257j also held appointment as almoner in the Dharamarath department of Sark&#257r <u>Kh</u>&#257ls&#257.
