<p class="C1">&#65279B&#298B&#298PUR <u>KH</u>URD, locally called B&#299pur, is a small village in Pa&#7789iala district, 8 km southeast of Ghu&#7771&#257m (30º-7'N, 76º-28'E). It has a historical shrine, Gurdw&#257r&#257 P&#257tsh&#257h&#299 Nauv&#299&#7749, sacred to Gur&#363 Te<u>gh</u> Bah&#257dur, who visited the site during one of his travels through M&#257lv&#257 and B&#257&#7749gar regions. The Gurdw&#257r&#257, out in the fields, is a single rectangular room, with a 4 metre wide verandah in front, built in 1964. It is managed by a village committee. Special <i>d&#299v&#257ns</i> take place on the first of every Bikram&#299 month, and an annual festival is held on the occasion of Hol&#257 Mohall&#257, recalling the Festival of Procession at Anandpur S&#257hib in the month of March.</p>
