He lived up to the time of Gur&#363 Arjan to whom he introduced sixteen other Br&#257hma&#7751 minstrels from his community. They sang in his presence praises to God and the Gur&#363s. Some of their compositions were included by Gur&#363 Arjan in the Gur&#363 Granth S&#257hib. One of the two stanzas by Bhikh&#257 recounts his wanderings in search of a true saint ending with his ultimate success by the grace of God.
