<p class="C1">&#65279BH&#256N&#362, BH&#256&#298, a Sikh of Gur&#363 Arjan's time, earned the sobriquet of Bhagat (devotee) for his piety and devotion. Gur&#363 Arjan appointed him to preach Gur&#363 N&#257nak's word at Muza&#7749g, in Lahore. By his <i>k&#299rtan</i> and exposition of the holy texts, Bh&#257&#299 Bh&#257n&#363, as says Bh&#257&#299 Man&#299 Si&#7749gh, <i>Sikh&#257&#7749 d&#299 Bhagat M&#257l&#257</i>, converted many to the Sikh way of life.</p>
