As she grew old, she wished to have a glimpse of the Gur&#363 before she died. Gur&#363 Hargobind then occupied the spiritual throne of Gur&#363 N&#257nak. M&#257&#299 Bh&#257gbhar&#299 had stitched a role of homespun fabric which she longed to present to the Gur&#363 personally, but she was too old to travel to distant Amritsar. As says Gurbil&#257s Chhev&#299&#7749 P&#257tsh&#257h&#299, Gur&#363 Hargobind did visit Kashm&#299r and, reaching Sr&#299nagar, he went straight to M&#257&#299 Bh&#257gbhar&#299's house in H&#257th&#299 Gate area. Bh&#257gbhar&#299 and her son, Sev&#257 D&#257s, served the Gur&#363 with devotion. The former was specially rejoiced to have this chance of making to the Gur&#363 the offering of the robe she had so lovingly prepared. Her cherished wish having been fulfilled, she died a contented person soon afterwards.

BIBLIOGRAPHY

Gurbil&#257s Chhev&#299n P&#257tsh&#257h&#299.
