Mah&#257r&#257j&#257 Ra&#7751j&#299t Si&#7749gh expelled him from the K&#257&#7749g&#7771&#257 hills, but the Gurkh&#257s had fought so bravely that he decided to raise a Gurkh&#257 regiment.
