<p class="C1">&#65279AMAR PAD or <i>amar&#257pad</i>, also called <i>parampada</i>(highest step), <i>turi&#257pada</i>or <i>turi&#257vasth&#257</i>, is the stage of deathlessness or immortality . In the Gur&#363 Granth S&#257hib the term has been used for the highest stage of spiritual enlightenment which is also the highest state of self-realization, equivalent of God-realization. This is the stage of ultimate release.</p>
